salad bar and great steaks. Had a friend here working as a cook, great food but
always crowded.
Madison's - 514 Bridgeport Ave, Shelton, CT (203) 402-0353 They opened a new restaurant on Bridgeport Ave by the strip malls they put in there, not far from Wendy's and this restaurant is called Madison's. We were going to go there for breakfast one day, and found out they're not even open for breakfast. Bummer. Anyway they have a website, and I checked it out, and their prices are just a bit too high for our pocketbook. I guess we won't be eating there. View Picture of Madisons
An Outback Steakhouse is going up quickly at the corner of Bridgeport Ave and Old Stratford road. They've been working on that corner for awhile now. I guarantee the steakhouse is going to be popular, because there isn't any other restaurants around. It's located right across the street from the Hilton Garden Inn. see early construction - They opened a Walgreens at the tip of the corner... River Road Restaurants
Bellavista Restaurant - Located on River Road, and very popular especially for pizza. During the summer they have a patio that overlooks the Housatonic River. See picture of the Bella Vista Restaurant and view a side picture. The sign says, "Taking Reservations for Mother's Day."
